The Hochiki HPS-CP is a conventional Break Glass Call Point designed for dependable fire alarm initiation in environments where accidental or malicious false alarms are a concern, such as schools, hospitals, and public assembly areas. Unlike standard pull stations, the HPS-CP requires the user to break a specific Factrolite glass plate to release a spring-loaded plunger switch. This "double-action" of intent significantly reduces nuisance activations. The unit is constructed for durability and features a simple, non-coded, normally open contact design that is compatible with most conventional fire alarm control panels.
